HEART Family -

Here is another opportunity to help others in need.  We are starting a knitting ministry (crochet, too!).  We will be knitting and crocheting for two different ministries, both of which serve veterans:

"BLANKETS OF GRATITUDE" - Thousands of veterans spend time in a VA hospital or facility.  We want them to know they are remembered, and we are grateful for their past service.  Since we can't visit them all in person, our goal is to wrap 25,000 of these Veterans in lap blankets, representative of our support and appreciation, called "blankets of gratitude."

"SCARVES FOR VETERANS" - You can help honor WWII veterans by knitting your bit - in this case a simple, cozy scarf to be donated to a veteran in a Veterans' Center somewhere in the United States.
